Sheeba sleeps much of the day while we're at home together, but when Ken gets home, no matter where Sheeba is at, he comes running. If he's in the basement, he'll come galloping up the stairs; if he's back in the bedroom, he'll come trotting down the hallway; if he's sleeping soundly on the warmth of Ken's laptop, he'll sloooowly get up and stretch, and come over to the door to greet Ken. He then follows Ken around like a puppy, meowing and chatting, and eventually flops over onto his side, rolls over onto his other side, and looks generally adorable. Why? He's waiting for his nightly kitty massage. Note the way he hangs onto the carpet for dear life, and although you probably can't hear it in this video, he purrs like crazy the entire time.
My cats love that too --especially Harding who will roll and flop and purr like crazy, and then, out of nowhere, he goes into full-play mode, and it can quickly turn into a blood bath.
ReplyDeleteSheeba is too much. I love her.
ReplyDeleteAwwww! It's so worth it to spoil a cat.
ReplyDeleteThat is excellent! He's not spoiled in the least is he ~~ he has a personal massage herapist!!! I love to see a spoiled cat! I hope you were next Beth ;)
ReplyDeleteAh, Cat Massage!
ReplyDeleteOur cats have also grown accustomed to and enjoy Butt Slaps. Repeated and alternating on both sides. One of our cats nearly goes into a tizzy when I provide Butt Slaps.
Two of the girls I have won't beg for attention they demand it claws and all. The boys will roll on they're backs paws over their eyes pretended to be distressed until you pay attention to them.
ReplyDeleteSheeba looks happy. Looks like Ken's arms got a bit of a workout too. (Hugs)Indigo
And I'm spent :o)
ReplyDeleteMy babies like belly rubs! I'll bet Sheeba's fur glistens after that rubdown!
ReplyDeleteThat is SOOOOOO cute!! And you're right, Sheeba does look like the large version of my little Dusty Winehouse.
ReplyDeleteXOXOXOXO
Sheeba looks like the happiest cat in the world in that video! It must be nice to have her own massage therapist, right at home.
ReplyDeleteGosh I bet Ken is exhausted at the end of all that !! if we attempted to do that with Amber Mary's cat he would have our hands in shreds I'm sure. He will allow us to brush hime for a wee time but he is just as quick to turn and try to catch you unawares and blood can be the result !!
ReplyDeleteLove Sybil xx
We've got six cats and they each have their own quirky feline personalities. And, we love them all! Great video. A+ to Ken on his brilliant kitty massage technique!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like Joe and spunky
ReplyDeleteHave you heard the old saying dogs have masters but cats have servants?
ReplyDeleteAndy
That is SOOO CUTE, and FUNNY!!! It looks like it would hurt poor Sheeba.... he's probably thinking... "Man, I hate this part, but Ken likes it sooo much, I hate to disappoint him!" LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteUhm, Sheeba, I hate to break it to you but... I think you're actually a dog. I know you look like a cat, talk like a cat and walk like a cat but, dude, you're a DOG. I've had cats that enjoy that sort of abuse, however, it doesn't usually go on that long before they say ok, enough.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Jamie
P.S. Sending dog treats for xmas this year "kitty." I'm onto you.
That's the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLOL She loves it! More like a dog! So adorable!!! My cats will start like that and then.... attack!
ReplyDeletebe well...
Snucks an error occurred- but I will try again later! (thanks aol)
ReplyDeleteSheebah is so beautiful :) and so very very lucky! But you two are also (you know that I realize lol)... When I see someone express their love for their furry family member like that it makes me smile and as I've said before...my heart happy :) that little "meow" was so like Heathen's I could hear him do it. Hugs and Blessings** Teresa
