A new Spice Girl

Since tonight is the season premiere of "30 Rock" (Yippee! I know Mark is happy, too!), I thought I'd share this clip from Letterman last night. Alec Baldwin was the guest, and the guy is one of our favorites. I love Tina Fey, but I think Baldwin makes the show. I watched this last night when it aired, and I was cracking up!

  2. Love what Alec said regarding Obama winning, should he win ... his thing with Isabella Rossilini on '30 Rock' was a hoot!

One of my fave scenes in the show (and there are so many) is one where he plays poker with Kenneth and the gang, and he says he smells pork (or pig ... I guess I should by the season one dvd!)

  3. Did you listen to the infomercial or see it. I didn't see it but I saw buts of it. Also McCains interview on Larry King. Thar man has lost it entirely. Everyone said he was good on it. As far as I was concerned it was just more attacks. Lucy

  9. My favorite 30 Rock episode is the one where Tracy Morgan wants to engage in dog fighting because it's the one thing that Baldwin tells him he can't do. So, Morgan has to go into therapy and Baldwin does all these voices as Morgan's dad, his mother, and the Latina neighbor. I've watched that clip on YouTube over and over again and it still makes me crack up! I'm so looking forward to the new season tonight. From now on, I'm referring to Palin as "Bible Spice."

  10. Hi Beth,
For some reason the clip didn't come through for me (am half wondering if it was a youtube link that was taken down for copyright infringement). Anyhow, am sure it was a hoot.
    Best,
    Marty

  13. Ah some NY action, first Letterman, filmed right here in the Big Apple...then my favorite one of "The Baldwin brothers" born and raised in Massapequa NY ! Right down the road from me (Yup, we are neighbors. Actually I think you favor another Massapequa native, if I'm not mistaken, one of the Stray Cats???????? Does my memory serve me right?

  16. I like Baldwin to a point but what he said to his daughter was shameful. He seems tortured but brilliant. XO
