And...I'm spent

Congratulations to President-Elect Barack Obama!

This is quite an important night, and at 1:20 AM, they still haven't called Indiana. That should tell you something. I was hoping to stay up and see what happens with Indiana, but Obama has already won the presidency, and my brain is fried. I think I might have to wait until tomorrow to see what Indiana does.

I'm sorry I didn't write more tonight (I'm sure you're all thrilled about that!), but I'm seriously mentally exhaused!

  1. Mr. MacCain was very gracious in his speech tonight and I agree, we must come together as a nation now, and pray for our new president and his family.
    I wish Mr.Obama and his family G-dspeed.

  2. Hi Beth,
What a historic night ... it feels like now the country can really get to work, we can really start to make things better all around. I just came back from watching the results with my neighbors and everyone out here is just so thrilled. What a night!
    Best,
    Marty

  4. It's 4am and they still haven't called Indiana yet. However, it's still in Obama's favor. Turn blue, turn blue, turn blue. I thought of polluting your comments section but I thought better of it. ;) Effin A. *big grin*

  8. From your previous post "...condones the brutal killing of wolves and bears from helicopters;..."

Well, the wolves and bears are safe. What about the babies that will die as a result of Obama's support of abortion? It's not ok to kill wolves and bears, but it is ok to kill human babies?

  10. John McCain was eloquent and gracious in his conciliatory speech. Both of these men just need to get some rest!!

  11. I loved Ken's post with the picture of the muzzle. Glad he didn't need to use it. I could just imagine you doing the happy dance and shouting at the top of your lungs when it was called. I know I was when they called NY for Obama. Priceless to be part of history being made. It was awesome wasn't it! (Hugs)Indigo
